Friday 56: Bayou Moon by Ilona Andrews

The Friday 56 is hosted by Storytime with Tanya and Friends:

* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of this blog.
*Post a link along with your post back to this blog.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.

I'm currently reading Bayou Moon by Ilona Andrews:

William spun the pole and rammed it into the nightmarish mouth. Jaws locked on the wood, ripping it out of his hands. Round fish eyes fixed on him, expressionless and stupid.

I have to say, I'm quite a bit farther than page 56; I think this is going to be one of my favorite reads of this year, AND, I may have a new book boyfriend!

  8. What do you mean do I read non m/m books?? I'm awesomely eclectic in my reading! Hmpf!

  9. Kris: Wow. I honestly thought you stayed in that genre. Probably because your cookies are so delicious in their m/m awesomeness.
