Looking for Recommendations:

So I've fallen into the dark, wonderful reading that is Dystopia. I didn't think I liked dystopian books, but oh how wrong I was.  In the last few weeks I've read:

Legend by Marie Lu
Crossed by Ally Condie
The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins
Divergent by Veronica Roth (my favorite so far)
Delirium by Lauren Olivier
Girl in the Arena by Lise Haines (not really dystopian, I think)

I've also got Enclave by Anne Aguirre and Moira Roger's new dystopian series, Children of the Undying, to read.

But I need more!!!  Do you have any dystopian recommendations?  My only requirement is that there's some sort of love interest - doesn't have to be sexual, but at least a hint or possibility of romance...

  1. If you are looking for an m/m bent, there is A Strong and Sudden Thaw

There is the Mann Francis The Administration series. I think Mind Fuck is free on her website, or it was. Good reviews for both books.

It's not really my genre so I don't know too many off hand, there are some m/m books but I couldn't find a comprehensive list. However maybe these will give you a bit of a change.

  2. The Aftertime series by Sophie Littlefield is really very good. It's a zombie apocalypse, but I promise that it's not cheesy.

  3. Ann Aguirre and Carrie Lofty write under the Ellen Connor penname and have a dystopian series that I really liked called the Dark Age Dawning. Those are really good books!

  4. I would also suggest Birthmarked , and agree with Ellen Conner series.

I loved Enlcave and Divergent :) My faves so far along with Hunger Games.

  5. SHATTER ME!! SO good! Also, just finished Eve by Anna Carey, really loved it. And Wither by Lauren DeStefano is another one I liked. :)

  6. Tam: *facepalm* It never occured to me there would be m/m dystopia. Thanks!

Jen: I might have that book in my TBR *off to look* Thanks!

MinnChica: I haven't heard of those - thank you!

Julie: Thanks for the recs, I'll look them up!!

Jess: Haven't heard of Shatter Me, might have Eve in my TBR too - will check it out.

Danielle: It's a sickness for which I cannot seem to find a cure. :)
